The growth cycle of eyelashes slows down with age
Just like hair, eyelashes follow a natural growth cycle divided into three phases: anagen (growth), catagen (transition), and telogen (shedding). After age 35, this cycle tends to shorten, which means that eyelashes have less time to reach their maximum length before falling out naturally. This gradual slowing down is one of the most common reasons why eyelashes appear less full over time.
