Blush for a healthy glow

That's its number 1 attraction. Since time immemorial, blush has been used to enhance the complexion with a touch of healthy glow. Whether pink, coral, brick red, grape or plum, blush (or blush, as the case may be) adapts to every skin tone and type, depending on its formulation. How do you apply it? For a healthy-glow effect, blush can be stretched over the entire cheek area, moving slightly upwards towards the temples. You can also add a small touch to the tip of the nose.

Blush to sculpt facial features

For some years now, we've been having fun with make-up, discovering innovative functionalities in products that we thought were already fully exploited. Like bronzing powder, blush is a fine sculptor, emphasizing the bony areas of the face in order to play with shadows and give it contentment. How do you apply it? How do I apply blush?

Blush is the finishing touch of the beauty routine, so we apply it at the end, following the correct steps. 

First and foremost: prepare your skin with the right cosmetics and after washing. Apply a toner, face serum, eye contour serum, day cream and sun cream. A word of advice: always apply facial care with fingertips and small circular movements. This not only stimulates blood circulation and boosts a healthy glow, but also allows the active ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin.

3. Locate cheekbones: smile slightly to find the area where cheekbones are most prominent. This is usually the area where blush can be applied.

4. Apply lightly: if using a powder blush, take a small amount of blush on the brush and tap lightly to remove excess product. For cream, liquid, gel or stick blush, apply directly to the cheek. Start by applying blush to the highest point of the cheekbones, using circular movements or sweeping lightly towards the temples. Blend well to achieve a natural finish.

5. Build color gradually: to intensify color as desired, it's better to add blush in small quantities rather than applying too much at the outset. This allows you to control intensity and avoid having to remove excess product.
