You probably know her as Emma Cupcake, but Emma Paris recently reverted to her real name on social networks. One of France's most-followed influencers, Emma Paris reveals her daily life as a working girl and her beauty blabla. 

With over 1.7 million followers on Instagram, Emma Paris(@emma.paris) is an authority on the scene. A presence on the web since 2013, she's part of the forward-thinking team that has somehow shaped the world of influence in France. 

We first knew her under the pseudonym Emma Cupcake, after sharing her recipes with the world, publishing books, gathering millions of followers and carrying out numerous projects... But for the past year, Emma has been turning over a new leaf and pursuing a quest for authenticity in her life. With this in mind, she's taken back her maiden name (yes, Paris is her surname, so it's quite a statement), turned brunette, launched her eco-friendly swimwear brand and... answers our questions. 

ROSEBLOG - You were part of the wave of the very first female influencers in France, and today your status is well established. What do you think it takes to be an influencer today?

Emma Paris - Aujourd’hui pour devenir créateur de contenus je pense qu’il faut se lancer sur Tiktok déjà, et être soi-même avoir un concept rigolo/original... Le faire pour les bonnes raisons pas pour l’argent haha.

ROSEBLOG - Tell us about the day-to-day life of an influencer. Can you share with us the details of a typical day for you?

Emma Paris - Mon quotidien se résume à bosser de chez moi, répondre aux mails, avoir des calls, gérer ma marque de maillots de bain (le SAV les envois de colis et la création de contenus sur les réseaux). Je gère aussi l'organisation des shootings, les voyages…

ROSEBLOG - Avec une vie rythmée à 100 à l’heure, trouves-tu encore du temps pour toi ? Si oui, que fais-tu dans ces cas là ?

Emma Paris - Oui quand j’ai du temps j'aime me mettre un masque sur le visage et les cheveux, je me pose avec un bon livre, un thé bien chaud ou un thé glacé et une playlist chill. Et là je me pose vraiment (haha).

ROSEBLOG - Speaking of rhythms, you've launched your own swimwear brand... A great project to add to your daily routine, can you tell us more about it? 

Emma Paris - Indeed, I've launched my own swimwear brand, called Kewanee, and I'm very happy about it. It's a project I've been working on for years (before covid). It's an eco-responsible brand, with swimwear made from recycled fabrics. The fabric is Italian, ultra-quality, sun-cream resistant and not at all transparent. 

Let's talk about self-care

ROSEBLOG - How would you describe your relationship with beauty and well-being? Is it important for you to take care of yourself? 

Emma Paris - Yes, my mother always taught me to take care of myself, to remove my make-up in the evening when I got home for example... I always saw her taking care of her skin, her body and so on, and that really impressed me when I was little.

ROSEBLOG - Do you consider yourself a skincare lover or a makeup addict?

Emma Paris - Je suis clairement les deux. Skin care lover et Makeup Addict. Le maquillage m’aide à me sentir belle, c’est vraiment un booster de confiance en soi je trouve. Et le soir, j’aime tellement me démaquiller, mettre mon sérum ma crème mon contour des yeux etc.

ROSEBLOG - What's THE must-have product you could never do without?  

Emma Paris - Le produit indispensable ... Je dirais le Roselash de Rosegold, car grâce à ce produit mes cils ont poussé.  Je ne pensais pas que c’était possible. Ils étaient épars et fins ça m’a changé la vie. Vraiment, j'en suis archi fan, surtout que c’est sans hormones.

Emma Paris - Le conseil beauté que je peux donner est de bien se démaquiller le soir + nettoyage du visage. Quant au le lendemain, ne pas se nettoyer le visage appliquer sa crème et son makeup et go !
