Choosing your false eyelashes is a matter of experience. Are you a beginner or curious to know what might suit you? We explain how to choose your false eyelashes for a guaranteed glamorous look.
It's easy to be tempted by the glamorous and mysterious image of a look lined with fake eyelashes like Kim Kardashian. These synthetic fringes have the advantage of widening a look, illuminating a face and bringing character to the simplest of looks.
Although the idea of magnifying yourself with them every day can be tempting, false eyelashes still suffer from a less than flattering reputation. They are generally considered difficult to apply and are thought to be intended for seasoned beauty addicts. Not at all! With new trends, increasingly easy-to-use models and the thousand and one tutorials available on the web, we can (almost) say that it is now child's play. The hardest part will be choosing among the most trendy false eyelashes of the moment.

How to choose the right false eyelashes? What you need to know
Before embarking on the great beauty adventure of false eyelashes, you need to know how to choose them. Of course, on the market you see everything, from the best to the lowest quality, from the simplest to the most extravagant style, from the most classic to the most tech-savvy technique. To be sure not to make a mistake, especially if it is a first purchase, it is better to have all the cards in hand.
Magnetic false eyelashes
Magnetic false eyelashes are one of the recent techniques that make it easier to apply false eyelashes. How does it work? It's very simple. Magnetic false eyelashes come with a liner whose ink is magnetic. All you have to do is draw a line along the upper lash line with this magic eyeliner, then apply the fringe of eyelashes (specially magnetized to stick to the liner line). This solution avoids the use of glue, which can scare off the most reluctant, but it is also an excellent alternative for those who want a natural look and a light result on the eyelid.
Adhesive false eyelashes
Adhesive false eyelashes are quite simple to apply. The eyelash styles vary from the most natural effect to the most glamorous (similar to Russian volume). To apply adhesive false eyelashes, it is simple, just peel the strip of eyelashes from its original packaging and simply stick it to the base of the lashes of the upper eyelid. Note that if a strip of false eyelashes is too big for your eye, you can always cut the end to adapt it. Like magnetic false eyelashes, adhesive false eyelashes can be reused many times, provided you take care of them and clean them after each use (we explain how to clean your false eyelashes at home !).
Magnetic false eyelashes
They are similar to magnetic false eyelashes but are not applied with magnetic eyeliner. Magnetic synthetic eyelashes are stuck to the lash line using small packets of magnetic eyelashes that will hold the fringe at the inner and outer corners of the eye. They are quite easy to apply but still require a certain amount of dexterity. It is also a good solution for those with sensitive eyes.

Choosing your false eyelashes according to the shape of your eyes
After choosing the model that suits you best, you now need to define the style that will brilliantly enhance your look. To do this, it is good to be able to determine the shape of your eyes. Rather round? Almond? Slanted? Small? Large? Every detail must be taken into account to obtain the best possible result.
For round eyes
Round eyes are easily surrounded by baby lashes or baby effect lashes for a guaranteed "kawaii" effect! We then favor dense fringes but with fine lashes. The line of synthetic lashes must be full and uniform from the inner end to the outer end of the eye.
For almond eyes
Like the oval face shape, almond-shaped eyes can do anything! However, if you want to accentuate their "elongated" side, you can turn to butterfly-style eyelashes, which focus on a full outer corner to enlarge the eyes.
For slanted eyes
Slanted eyes are usually small and rather sunken in their orbit. To counteract this and enlarge the look, we rely on false eyelashes that are full on the inside and lighter at the inner and outer corners. The look must be brought to the center of the eye to give it the illusion of having been enlarged!
For small drooping eyes
Here the idea will be to enlarge the small drooping eyes and open the gaze in order to illuminate the face. It's simple, we favor an elongated fringe of eyelashes that always stretches from the center of the eye to the outer corner. Doe-eyed result guaranteed.
If you are the fanciful type, know that there are also false eyelashes made of fur, strips of colored eyelashes or accessorized with rhinestones and glitter. These extravagant models can do the trick for an evening or simply to spice up the look of an assertive personality! If you already have more or less full eyelashes and you want to add a little bit of substance to them, then you can opt for the solution of small packets spaced here and there to give back some panache to natural eyelashes.
Roselash serum, a natural alternative to false eyelashes
If false eyelashes are a good occasional alternative, they are still a bit annoying to apply every day... For long lashes with the ideal curve, eyelash extensions can do the trick but the result is not eternal and it requires a certain cost! The eyelash growth serum really remains THE most sustainable solution. At ROSEGOLD PARIS, the Roselash serum is formulated to boost eyelash growth and give them new vigor. How does it work? Rich in Biotin and composed of 95% ingredients of natural origin, this eyelash growth serum is applied as a treatment morning and evening at the level of the eyelashes of the mobile eyelid. The product will then nourish the hair follicles and allow the hair to develop in a healthy environment. For convincing results, the Roselash serum must be applied for at least one month.
