How to apply mascara ? Step by step and after using the eyelash curler (or not), we will apply the mascara material to the eyelashes starting from the base of the eyelash upwards in zigzag movements (this avoids clumps). We then stretch with the brush towards the outside of the eye to open the look more and accentuate the "doe eye" effect. The operation can be repeated once or twice depending on the desired intensity, but be careful not to overload the eyelashes, at the risk of obtaining the opposite effect desired, namely a heavy and loaded look.

For a smoky, mysterious, glamorous or rock'n roll look, nothing beats liner, this thick and intense black line has adorned the eyes of men and women for thousands of years. In Eastern countries where Kohl is very popular, it mainly has a protective role. The thick black line is intended to prevent external aggressions from reaching the eye (dust, sweat, heat, sun rays). This practical asset has become an aesthetic coquetry in our time and is used in the form of eyeliner. More or less fine depending on the desired effect, eyeliner comes in all sorts of formats. What size eyeliner should I choose?

Be careful not to stretch the eyelid when applying your liner line, it's a false good idea! The mobile eyelid has thin skin, very fragile, it gets damaged and marks easily. Even if stretching it can help to have a more successful line, this technique is bad for the skin.

Creamy or powdery eyeshadow, which one to choose?

Extremely trendy, eyeshadow palettes never stop flooding the cosmetics market. Slick packaging, limited editions, sparkling shades, intense pigments, iridescent, matte, powdery... All the codes are combined to make them real collector's items. We quickly become addicted! In this maze of choices, each more tempting than the last, it quickly becomes difficult to choose. How to apply eye makeup according to eye color?

Makeup for brown eyes: we favor warm and orange shades like bronze, ochre, gold, rust or even nude tones like beige, cream, khaki, purple for eyelid makeup... If we have brown eyes and matte skin, we simply avoid light shades!

Makeup for blue eyes: we enhance ourselves with cool tones like mauve, violet, navy blue, black, silver, metallic, but also copper and gold and bright colors. We avoid tones that are too warm and orange which can quickly give a sick look, especially if we have fair skin.
