With over 1.7 million followers on Instagram, Emma Paris (@emma.paris) is an authority in the field. Present online since 2013, she is part of this avant-garde team that somehow shaped the world of influence in France.
We first knew her under the pseudonym Emma Cupcake, after sharing her recipes with the world, publishing books, gathering millions of followers and successfully carrying out countless projects... But for a year now, Emma has turned a page and pursues a quest for authenticity in her life. It is with this in mind that she takes back her maiden name (yes yes, Paris is indeed her last name, you can say it sounds cool), becomes brunette, launches her eco-responsible swimsuit brand and... answers our questions.
ROSEBLOG - You were part of the wave of the very first influencers in France, today your status is well established. In your opinion, what do you absolutely need to have to become an influencer today?
Emma Paris - Today to become a content creator I think you have to start on Tiktok first, and be yourself have a funny/original concept... Do it for the right reasons not for the money haha.
ROSEBLOG - Tell us, what is the daily life of an influencer? Can you share with us the details of a typical day for you?
Emma Paris - My daily life boils down to working from home, answering emails, having calls, managing my swimsuit brand (customer service, sending packages and creating content on social media). I also manage the organization of shoots, trips…
ROSEBLOG - With a life paced at 100 miles an hour, do you still find time for yourself? If so, what do you do in those cases?
Emma Paris - Yes when I have time I like to put a mask on my face and hair, I sit down with a good book, a hot tea or an iced tea and a chill playlist. And there I really relax (haha).
ROSEBLOG - Speaking of pace, you launched your swimsuit brand… A beautiful project that adds to your daily life, can you tell us more?
Emma Paris - Indeed, I launched my swimsuit brand, which is called Kewanee, I am very happy about it. It is a project I have been working on for years (before covid). It is an eco-responsible brand, the swimsuits are made from recycled fabrics. The fabric is Italian, ultra-quality, it resists sunscreen and it is absolutely not transparent.

ROSEBLOG - How would you describe your relationship with beauty and well-being? Is it important to you, to take care of yourself ?
Emma Paris - Yes my mother always taught me to take care of myself, to remove my makeup in the evening when coming home for example... I always saw her taking care of her skin her body etc, it really marked me when I was little, she is very feminine.
ROSEBLOG - Do you consider yourself more of a skincare lover or a makeup addict?
Emma Paris - I am clearly both. Skincare lover and Makeup Addict. Makeup helps me feel beautiful, it is really a confidence booster I think. And in the evening, I love so much removing my makeup, putting my serum my cream my eye contour etc.
ROSEBLOG - What is THE essential product you could never do without?
Emma Paris - The essential product ... I would say Roselash by Rosegold, because thanks to this product my lashes grew. I did not think it was possible. They were sparse and thin it changed my life. Really, I am a huge fan, especially since it is hormone-free.
ROSEBLOG - What is THE beauty tip (or self care / well-being) that you want to pass on to your followers and our readers?
Emma Paris - The beauty tip I can give is to remove your makeup well in the evening + face cleansing. As for the next day, do not clean your face apply your cream and your makeup and go!
