Thick, full, bushy and flashy eyebrows are exactly what's in right now! But with all the trends mixing and intertwining, it's easy to get confused, so to see things more clearly, we're taking stock.

The browlift trend for on-fleek eyebrows

We hear about it on every street corner. The browlift is wreaking havoc, but what exactly is it? Be careful not to be fooled by its name, it is not a facelift in the strict sense. It is said to be the simplest and most effective method for restructuring your eyebrows. It allows for thicker, fuller and above all better defined eyebrows while fixing their movements. We can say that it is a kind of eyebrow enhancement (like those of the eyelashes). Under the hands of an expert (you don't do it yourself at home) the brow-lift technique will meticulously work the hairs in order to style them and make them malleable, to obtain the desired shape. A dye is often applied to further mark the eyebrow.

• Why do we like it? It's the right alternative for those who don't dare to go for permanent makeup like microblading or tattooing, but who still want defined and fixed eyebrows over time! Browlifts are accessible to everyone, and are ideal for those whose eyelids droop downwards. Be careful, however, this technique is not suitable for those whose eyebrows are sparse. 

Microblading for long-lasting hold

Another trend that has been a hit for some time. Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that aims to restructure eyebrows as much as possible. It is the IDEAL technique for those who want to redraw a harmonious line and fill in gaps where unfortunately the hairs no longer grow back... How does it work? It is a manual technique. The specialist  will first draw the desired line using a pencil (as for a surgical procedure!). Then she operates using a metal pen and nano needles impregnated with mineral pigments, which will meticulously draw each missing hair on the eyebrow line. The pain is less insistent than for a tattoo but the experience can be a little unpleasant. 

• Why we love it? It's the perfect solution for those who want to redo a line worthy of the name without having to go through the tattoo which is totally permanent! Microblading lasts about three years before fading. It's the miracle solution to no longer waste time in the morning making up your eyebrows!

The Feral Brow for a wild look

This time we're going all out on the bushy side, the Feral Brow is the love of the messy! It's a way to add character to your look. This technique doesn't require much effort, you just need an eyebrow fixing gel and possibly a pencil if you want to tint everything (but be careful not to overload). How does it work? First of all, you comb your eyebrows to give them a more or less wild curve. Once the hairs are in order (or rather the desired disorder) you apply the fixing gel! 

• Why do we like it? Because the falsely neglected effect always has its little effect. It's also an excellent way to hide the fact that we didn't necessarily have time to do our eyebrows that morning! After all, vacations are mainly for relaxing, right?

Ombre eyebrows for a stylish look

This is a makeup technique that we still hear little about and yet, it can wreak havoc! Here we favor the powder texture rather than the pencil. You must therefore be careful not to overload the brush with material to create a soft, shaded and intense line. How does it work? The shaded effect is similar to an effortless look, we work the application lightly by applying the material with small, chopped strokes on the hairline. Be careful, the hairs must not be darker than the hair, so we make sure to choose the right shade! You can try several tests if necessary. For a good hold, you can perfect everything with a fixing gel.

The geolift brow for a structured face

Trends follow one another and are quite similar. The geolift brow is actually the evolution of the boys brow, a trend that was quite popular in the 2010s. We keep a certain thickness of the eyebrow but not in a uniform way. For example, at the level of the head of the eyebrow, the idea is that the hairs are less full, like a "small feathers" effect. The arch below must be clean, and the tail of the eyebrow must end in a tapered mode that is neither wide nor extended. This technique highlights the geometric aspect of the eyebrow (hence its name which may seem to come from another planet).

• Why do we like it? This type of eyebrow structures the harmony of the face to the max by playing on the symmetry and perfect geometry of the features. They open the eyes and clear the face. Its gender-neutral aspect which means that it can suit both men and women.
