Meet Morgane Sirguey, a woman with many talents!

Meet Morgane Sirguey, a woman with many talents!

Coralie Techer

Her face is surely not unknown to you, Morgane Sirguey made herself known in the digital sphere a little while ago now, by launching her blog dedicated to cake design and her Instagram account @cakesparadise. Blogger, YouTuber, influencer, editor-in-chief… Today she is above all the co-founder of the BOLT Influence agency. We met her to discuss her inspiring journey and the little things in life.

Roseblog - Hello Morgane, can you tell us briefly about your background?

Morgane Sirguey - Before co-founding Bolt Influence , I was mainly an influencer on social networks. In the field of food and more precisely cake design (pastry decorations in sugar paste). I started all this in 2012 with a blog, then I went to YouTube and finally Instagram. I wrote several books specialized in cake design… I was even editor-in-chief of a pastry magazine for two years! This whole little adventure led me to meet Joseph, the CEO of Bolt Influence… We started the project in September 2019!

Roseblog - What did you imagine becoming before the world of influence imposed itself on you?

Morgane Sirguey - I did a BTS in real estate, then a degree in management control… But I didn't thrive there. I wanted to find a small business alongside my studies. I started my cake design blog like that. I arrived at the right time, cake design was totally innovative on the market!

Roseblog - Have you completely abandoned the influencer part of your life?

Morgane Sirguey - I left that aside quite a bit, it takes a lot of time. I'm happy to have moved on to the other side and to have a new experience at Bolt Influence!

Roseblog - Now that you are on the other side of the mirror, how would you define your relationship with social networks?

Morgane Sirguey - What's good is that I've seen both sides. When I was managed by an agency myself, I often felt like I wasn't really supported. At Bolt, we keep in touch with our talents, we created a WhatsApp group with each talent to communicate regularly and stay there for them! I always try to put myself in our influencers' shoes so that they feel good.

Roseblog - How do you choose talent at the agency?

Morgane Sirguey - At the very beginning, we were the ones hunting for talent, we weren't known so of course! We still had an advantage, that of having been created before the big TikTok boom. We were one of the first agencies to recruit talent on this network. Today, we have a lot of talent coming to us.

Roseblog - What is your best moment experienced thanks to social networks?

Morgane Sirguey - The first book I was able to write. I went for it on the cheek and it was an incredible experience for me. My travels, especially my road trip to the United States! And then the meetings, I met some very nice people on the influencer side but also on the agency side.

Roseblog - Which influencer do you particularly love to follow?

Morgane Sirguey - Now that I work for an agency, I already have to follow a lot of talents. It's more for the professional side than for leisure. After that, I also follow talents who are my friends!

Roseblog - What do you need to succeed on social media?

Morgane Sirguey - If we had the magic recipe, we would tell everyone! I think it's the spontaneity of talent. You have to be yourself! You need quality content, so a good phone, good lighting, good subjects... A well-defined universe, whether it's food, travel, humor, you must not arrive without an editorial line and above all remain regular in your activity.

Roseblog - What advice would you give specifically to women who want to succeed on TikTok?

Morgane Sirguey - You have to offer short content, don't do Instagram! Choose the right music, the right timing. At the moment, we lack fashion content unlike Instagram, so it's time to get started...

Roseblog - Do you have any upcoming projects, solo or with the agency?

Morgane Sirguey - I am focused on the agency, we are recruiting quite a bit and as we are expanding we always have new projects, it's great!

LET'S TALK BEAUTY

Roseblog - With your hectic lifestyle, do you manage to take care of yourself? And how do you do it?

Morgane Sirguey - Yes, I need to take care of myself! I do sports four times a week, in the morning before going to work. I also like to put on makeup and do my hair even when I'm working from home, it boosts me, it's important.

Roseblog - Do you have a favorite beauty treatment?

Morgane Sirguey - I love my day cream with SPF 40. I live in the south, I can't go out without it!
