How do I apply BB Crème?
While the idea is not to extend your beauty routine with the application of BB cream, it's important to bear in mind that a cosmetic product should not be applied lightly. In fact, it's essential to follow the correct dosage to apply it at its best. There are a few essential steps to follow to ensure a fresh, natural complexion all day long.
Preparing the skin
Before applying your BB Crème, it's essential to prepare your skin for optimum hold and results. Start by cleansing your face with a gentle, moisturizing cleanser, then apply a face serum, an eye serum, a moisturizing day cream, a sun cream and a make-up base. Of course, all adapted to your skin type. Leave to penetrate for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.

The (right) choice of shade
As with foundation, BB Crème comes in a wide range of shades. But which BB Crème should you choose? For a natural result and a flawless complexion, choose a shade that matches your skin tone as closely as possible. Don't hesitate to ask a cosmetics professional for advice if you have any doubts about choosing the ideal shade for you. A little tip: to get a precise idea of how BB cream looks on the skin, you can test a sample on the inside of the wrist, as the color of this area of the skin is similar to that of the face.

What accessory should you choose to apply your BB Cream?
1- With your fingers: For a light, natural application, place a small amount of product on the back of your hand. Then, gently tap fingertips into the product and apply to face in circular motions. Start with the center of the face (forehead, nose, cheeks) and stretch the light texture outwards to even out skin tone.
2 - With a sponge: For an even more natural finish, you can just as easily opt to use a make-up sponge. Lightly dampen the sponge, then pick up a small amount of BB Crème and gently dab it onto the face, blending in around the edges. This technique allows for a lighter application and better blending with the skin.
3 - With a brush: If you prefer optimal coverage, you can use a suitable makeup brush (a special foundation brush, for example). Take a small amount of BB Cream on the brush and apply it to the face using light, circular movements. Make sure to blend the contours well for an ultra-natural finish.

Modulating BB cream coverage
As well as being a perfecting skin care product, BB Crème generally offers light to moderate hold, which is its great advantage. If you wish to increase coverage or camouflage certain small imperfections, this is entirely possible. Simply apply a second coat to the areas concerned. However, it's best not to overload your face to avoid looking too heavy or even cakey...

Fixing it all
For optimum hold of BB Crème (and all make-up), apply a translucent powder or light compact powder to mattify the complexion and set make-up. Use a special powder brush for even application. Finish with a spritz of special make-up setting water and you're done.
Applying BB Crème is simple, but these steps must be followed for optimum results. By following this process, you can easily achieve a fresh, natural, even complexion. Preparing the skin, choosing the right shade and using the right application technique are essential factors for a successful result. So don't hesitate to take the time to familiarize yourself with your BB Crème and experiment to find the method that suits you best.
