Passionate about fashion, make-up and horse-riding, Héléna Bu agreed to be interviewed by ROSEBLOG. Meet this woman of influence with hundreds of thousands of followers on the networks. 

If today she is one of France's most followed influencers, nothing predestined Héléna(@helena.bu) for this path. It was during her studies (DUT Techniques de Commercialisation) that the young woman became interested in networks in a totally disinterested way and mainly to share with her close circle. "Ihad Instagram and Snapchat, like pretty much every girl my age, and I would show my girlfriends my clothes and make-up purchases, and any good deals I found...". Naturally, her content became popular, her subscriber base grew andshe was soon noticed by a modeling agency, which took her under its wing. Héléna was on the rise. Today, the model inspires her 157k followers on Instagram with her chameleon-like style; as she says herself, she likes to play with fashion. Sometimes chic, casual, sportswear, a touch sexy or sober, the young woman mixes inspirations from the major fashion houses to offer her followers accessible looks.  

ROSEBLOG - Can you tell us a little about the day-to-day life of an influencer?

Héléna Bu - In the morning, I usually manage my e-mails, talk to brands and subscribers... receive and open my parcels. In the afternoons, I focus mainly on content creation, and once the job's done, I go back to my daily life, which is pretty mundane I'd say, consisting of housework and sport. Sometimes I have events and appointments in Paris or elsewhere, so I travel. It's really cool because the days are never the same, and I'm always learning new things!

ROSEBLOG - With an extensive presence on the networks (Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube) how do you manage this notoriety? 

Héléna Bu - Social networks are clearly the most important means of communication and visibility, I think for any project. Quality content and regularity are key to the success of any project. I'm helped by an agency on a day-to-day basis, but I do as many things as possible on my own, because I like to manage things on my own, and above all I like this closeness with my subscribers, this link that remains very human.

ROSEBLOG - As a content creator, you have the opportunity to test and discover a lot of products, especially in terms of beauty. Can you tell us about your routine? 

Héléna Bu - I love taking care of myself and my body. I like to eat healthy and do sport, mainly horse riding (@helena.thesaur). I also use a lot of cosmetics, I love testing and discovering new routines and sharing my experience on my social networks, including my ROSEGOLD serums by the way!

ROSEBLOG - Which of our products would you recommend to your readers, and why? 

Héléna Bu - I had the chance to try out the whole range thanks to the boxed set that lets you discover all the serums. I like the fact that the products are 80% natural and above all, they work really quickly. However, I prefer the eyelash serum and the eyebrow serum as they correspond more closely to my expectations.

ROSEBLOG - Life is a journey whose stages you never really know, but where would you like to see yourself in 10 years' time?

Héléna Bu - In 10 years' time, I hope to be able to continue doing what I love, sharing and exchanging with others, and above all being fulfilled. It's important in life to do something you love, take care of yourself and enjoy the present moment. You have to know how to please yourself, surround yourself well and believe in yourself. So in 10 years' time, I hope I'll still be as lucky as ever!
