After a long day of exhausting daily tasks... It's a good idea to take a little time out in the evening to pamper yourself properly!
In our article, we reveal the steps to follow for a cocooning beauty evening.
These beauty tips for a successful evening routine
Just like our bodies, our faces also deserve a good night's sleep.
By opting for an appropriate skincare routine based on gentle cleansing and intense moisturizing, our skin will be radiant from the moment we wake up.
1/ Make-up removal: the first and not least important step
If there's one step you mustn't miss if you want to keep your skin looking beautiful, it's make-up removal. Imagine the amount of impurities your face has been subjected to during the day: sweat, sebum, dust, wind, sun, make-up containing allergens, etc. All these elements stick to your skin and promote oxidation.
Once you're home, and before you slip into bed, it's important to remove your make-up in the evening, because it's during the night that your skin regenerates and renews itself. That's why you mustn't skip the make-up removal step, as it's a very common mistake with adverse consequences for your pretty face. You risk encouraging the early appearance of wrinkles and damaging your skin; in fact, all you're doing is clogging your pores, causing them to dilate and secrete excess sebum, and that's when pimples start to appear, as well as guaranteeing the appearance of redness and flaking.

To remove facial make-up properly, it's already important to choose the right type of make-up remover for your skin. We've already talked about this in our article, Take a look, Facial care routine.
But to keep things simple, if you don't have a make-up remover at your disposal, water and a soap-free cleansing gel and a soft washcloth will do just fine, or you can use the famous coconut oil, an inexpensive, effective, sweet-smelling oil with beneficial properties, Thanks to its oily formula, it's ideal for dissolving the pigments in eyeshadows and powders and eliminating impurities, while guaranteeing healthy, glowing skin. You can apply it directly to your face or with a washable cotton pad.
2/ Cleaning when you hold us
Le jour comme la nuit, le nettoyage de votre peau est un geste primordial pour chasser la grise mine et retrouver la sensation d'une peau de bébé, propre et fraîche.
Depending on your skin type, choose a cleansing gel that is free of this drying ingredient.
This ritual can be accompanied by the application of a floral water or mist to soothe and protect the skin.

3/ Hydration: the essential step for a radiant complexion
Most of the time, cosmetics used in the morning must be different from those used in the evening, as they do not act in the same way.
For dry skin
Micellar cleansing waters are perfectly suited to those with dry skin, those who suffer from redness, or those who tend to react to beauty products.
Micellar water is a mixture of water and oil without emulsifiers, which gently cleanses your skin without damaging it. Its expert formulation effectively removes grease, dust and impurities.
For oily or acne-prone skin
Although sebum is essential for protecting and moisturizing the epidermis, when over-secreted, it builds up on the skin, making it difficult for it to breathe. The ideal solution is to cleanse the face with a foaming gel cleanser, but make sure the product is not too abrasive and stripping. Take your time in choosing the right product, as many cleansers contain harmful ingredients.

For reactive and sensitive skin
A lack of skin moisture can cause profound discomfort, with skin becoming tight, sensitive and less supple. To cleanse and pamper reactive skin, it's essential to choose the right cleanser: opt for gentle cleansing gels, or soaps, which are very pleasant to use, less stripping than gels but still cleansing perfectly.
4/ Make a mask, deeply nourish the skin
We can't talk about an evening skincare routine without mentioning face masks, so we've selected some homemade mask recipes to suit your skin type.
Mask for sensitive skin
- White clay mask, also known as Kaolin
Pour a teaspoon of white clay into a bowl with a tablespoon of plain yoghurt, and mix until you obtain a homogeneous, fine-grained paste that you can use as a mask and then as a gentle scrub.

Here are its virtues:
- It soothes, purifies, exfoliates and tones.
- Its silica content has anti-inflammatory effects.
- it moisturizes by retaining moisture and tightening pores.
- It absorbs impurities and rids the skin of dead cells.
- Oatmeal mask:
This mask recipe is designed to soothe sensitive skin that tends to itch, as oats combat dehydration and have emollient, calming and soothing properties.
The recipe is simple: add warm water a little at a time to form a paste. Stir gently before applying to face and neck for 10-15 minutes.
Masks for oily skin
- Soothing banana mask
This mask is your ally in regulating excess sebum. You'll need a ripe banana, a teaspoon of honey and a tablespoon of orange juice.
Mash the banana in a bowl and add the honey. Apply the paste to your face and leave for ten minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
- Green clay mask
There's no better way to purify your skin than with green clay.
It's ultra-simple and takes almost no time to prepare.
For your mask, use the clay and mix it with the
floral water of your choice, such as rose water, until you obtain
a homogeneous paste.
Apply the mask to your face and wait for it to dry,
then rinse off with lukewarm water.
- Yogurt and aloe vera mask for deep nourishment
For this mask, mix aloe vera gel and yoghurt until you obtain a homogeneous, liquid texture. Apply the mixture to the face and leave for 15 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Aloe vera's soothing and regenerating properties are highly effective in moisturizing and soothing dry skin, and it promotes the production of fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen renewal, so it actively combats skin aging and the appearance of wrinkles.
5/ Night cream
Night is the ideal time for our skin cells to regenerate, for a radiant complexion. We need to apply a moisturizing night cream to stimulate cellular activity during sleep, and combat skin aging.

- If you have dry skin, opt for a rich cream to deeply nourish the skin and provide lipids.
- If you have oily skin, opt for a regulating skin care product that will calm the sebaceous glands overnight and reduce your sebum production.
- If your skin is combination, it combines the characteristics of oily and dry skin. It is therefore advisable to apply a lotion that is not very oily.
A night cream isn't applied just any old way: start with the forehead, stretching the material from the center to the temples, then spread some on each side of the nose to the ends of the cheekbones.
6/ And we don't forget the essential gesture
And to finish off on a high note, apply ROSELASH serum, a deep-care treatment for your lashes that adds length and volume.
For plump, well-moisturized lips, simply apply ROSELIPS lip balm, rich in shea butter known for its nourishing properties.

And eyebrows? To maintain and regrow your eyebrows, rigorously apply ROSEBROW treatment. That's all there is to it, and you can enjoy a good night's sleep.
Remember that for a healthy glow and beautiful skin, it's all a question of hygiene, and regularity is the secret, as in many other areas.
